- Oversee the daily operations of all laboratory facilities within Legacy Health.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to optimize efficiency, quality, and compliance in laboratory operations.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and address operational challenges and develop solutions.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to ensure compliance with established standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage and maintain laboratory budgets, including expenses and revenue projections.
- Hire, train, and supervise laboratory staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
- Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure smooth and efficient workflow across all laboratory operations.
- Stay current with industry developments and regulations related to laboratory operations and make recommendations for changes or improvements as needed.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaborate with team members to implement new processes and technologies to enhance laboratory operations.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations.
- Act as a liaison between laboratory staff and upper management, providing regular updates on operational performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure all laboratory facilities are maintained and equipped with necessary supplies and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to laboratory operations.
- Uphold Legacy Health's mission and values in all interactions and decisions.
- Provide exceptional leadership and support to laboratory staff, encouraging a positive and collaborative work environment.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or Laboratory Science.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Laboratory Operations, Preferably Within A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Laboratory Regulations And Compliance Standards, Such As Clia And Cap.
Experience Managing Budgets, Developing And Implementing Strategic Plans, And Leading Cross-Functional Teams.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Effectively Manage Conflicts.
