Responsibilities: • Collect blood samples from patients in a clinical setting • Prepare specimens for analysis according to laboratory protocol • Maintain the cleanliness of the laboratory by cleaning and disinfecting equipment • Provide excellent patient service and care • Document all patient data accurately • Assist with any additional duties as needed • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols • Ensure patient confidentiality at all times • Maintain current certification and licensure as a phlebotomist • Assist with training new staff members in the laboratory
