- Prepare and serve meals and beverages to patients and staff according to dietary restrictions and menu guidelines.
- Monitor food inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
- Assist with meal planning and menu development.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Food Service Worker At Legacy Health Should Have A Minimum Educational Requirement Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Can Effectively Communicate And Follow Instructions.
Food Handling Certification: Legacy Health Requires All Food Service Workers To Have A Valid Food Handling Certification. This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Handle Food Safely And Maintain Proper Sanitation Standards.
Previous Experience In A Food Service Role: While Not Always A Requirement, Previous Experience In A Food Service Role Is Highly Preferred For A Food Service Worker Position At Legacy Health. This Experience Can Include Working In A Restaurant, Cafeteria, Or Other Food Service Setting.
Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: Working In A Hospital Setting Can Be Physically Demanding, And A Food Service Worker May Be Required To Lift Heavy Objects, Push Carts, And Stand For Extended Periods. Therefore, Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Tasks Comfortably.
Strong Customer Service Skills: A Food Service Worker At Legacy Health Is Expected To Interact With Patients, Visitors, And Staff On A Daily Basis.
