Job Description

In this role, you will play a vital role in maintaining the appearance and safety of our facilities through the proper cleaning and maintenance of floors.   1. Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of floors in patient rooms, hallways, and common areas.
  2. Utilize appropriate cleaning methods and equipment to ensure a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.
  3. Monitor and address any spills, stains, or other potential hazards on floors.
  4. Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  5. Keep track of and report any necessary repairs or replacements for floor equipment and supplies.
  6. Assist in moving furniture and equipment as needed for floor cleaning and maintenance.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and other staff to coordinate cleaning schedules and tasks.
  8. Maintain a thorough understanding of Legacy Health's standards and protocols for floor care.
  9. Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
  10. Attend and actively participate in training and educational opportunities to enhance floor care skills.
  11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
  12. Follow all company policies and regulations, including confidentiality and safety procedures.
  13. Take ownership of maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  14. Proactively identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of floor care processes.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
