- Maintaining Clean and Safe Environment: The primary responsibility of the Environmental Services Tech is to ensure that all areas of the healthcare facility are kept clean, sanitized, and free of hazards. This includes patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and common areas.

Previous Experience In Environmental Services: Candidates With Previous Experience In Environmental Services, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting, Will Have An Advantage In The Selection Process. This Experience Demonstrates An Understanding Of The Specific Needs And Challenges Of Maintaining A Clean And Safe Healthcare Environment.
Knowledge Of Cleaning Techniques And Infection Control: An Environmental Services Tech Must Have Knowledge Of Various Cleaning Techniques And Infection Control Procedures To Maintain A Safe And Sanitary Environment For Patients, Staff, And Visitors. This Includes Understanding The Proper Use Of Cleaning Chemicals And Equipment.
Physical Ability To Perform Job Duties: This Position Requires Physical Stamina And The Ability To Perform Tasks That May Involve Lifting, Bending, And Standing For Extended Periods. Candidates Must Be Able To Meet The Physical Demands Of The Job To Ensure The Efficient And Effective Completion Of Tasks.
