  1. Providing exceptional care to patients in emergency situations.
  2. Assisting medical professionals with emergency procedures and treatments.
  3. Maintaining a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  4. Communicating effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
  5. Monitoring and recording patients' vital signs and reporting any changes to medical staff.
  6. Preparing and restocking emergency equipment and supplies.
  7. Maintaining a clean and safe environment in the emergency department.
  8. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
  9. Adhering to all protocols and procedures to ensure efficient and effective emergency care.
  10. Demonstrating compassion and empathy towards patients and their families.
  11. Participating in ongoing training and education to stay current with emergency protocols and procedures.
  12. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  13. Demonstrating a commitment to the mission and values of Legacy Health.
  14. Upholding patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  15. Acting as a positive representative of Legacy Health to patients, families, and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, As Well As Successful Completion Of An Accredited Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Or Paramedic Program.

  • Certification And Licensure: Must Hold A Current And Valid Oregon Emt Or Paramedic Certification, As Well As Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications.

  • Experience: At Least 1 Year Of Experience Working As An Emt Or Paramedic In A Fast-Paced Emergency Setting Is Preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency In Emergency Medical Procedures Such As Cpr, Basic And Advanced Airway Management, Trauma Assessment And Treatment, And Medication Administration.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong Communication And Teamwork Abilities, As Well As The Ability To Remain Calm And Composed Under Pressure, Are Essential For This Role. Must Also Possess Excellent Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Skills.
