- Providing exceptional care to patients in emergency situations.
- Assisting medical professionals with emergency procedures and treatments.
- Maintaining a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Monitoring and recording patients' vital signs and reporting any changes to medical staff.
- Preparing and restocking emergency equipment and supplies.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment in the emergency department.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Adhering to all protocols and procedures to ensure efficient and effective emergency care.
- Demonstrating compassion and empathy towards patients and their families.
- Participating in ongoing training and education to stay current with emergency protocols and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

- Upholding patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Acting as a positive representative of Legacy Health to patients, families, and the community.
Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, As Well As Successful Completion Of An Accredited Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Or Paramedic Program.
Certification And Licensure: Must Hold A Current And Valid Oregon Emt Or Paramedic Certification, As Well As Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications.
Experience: At Least 1 Year Of Experience Working As An Emt Or Paramedic In A Fast-Paced Emergency Setting Is Preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency In Emergency Medical Procedures Such As Cpr, Basic And Advanced Airway Management, Trauma Assessment And Treatment, And Medication Administration.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong Communication And Teamwork Abilities, As Well As The Ability To Remain Calm And Composed Under Pressure, Are Essential For This Role. Must Also Possess Excellent Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Skills.
