1. Provide exceptional care and support to patients in the Emergency Department.
2. Monitor and assess patient's condition, notifying medical staff of any changes or concerns.
3. Assist in the triage process, prioritizing patients based on their condition and urgency.
4. Prepare patients for medical procedures and assist medical staff as needed.
5. Administer basic medical treatments and interventions under the direction of a physician or nurse.
6. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
7. Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid and basic life support as needed.
8. Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
10. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills.
11. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective care for patients.
13. Handle confidential information with sensitivity and maintain patient privacy at all times.
14. Assist in the transportation of patients to and from the Emergency Department as needed.
15. Remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
16. Act as a positive and professional representative of Legacy Health at all times.
