  1. Perform and interpret electroencephalography (EEG) tests to diagnose and monitor neurological disorders.
  2. Prepare patients for EEG procedures and ensure their comfort and safety during the test.
  3. Operate EEG equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of EEG test results.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients.
  6. Educate patients and their families on EEG procedures and results.
  7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  8. Keep up-to-date with advancements in EEG technology and techniques.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with maintaining accreditation standards.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  12. Provide exceptional patient care with empathy and compassion.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  14. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
  15. Attend trainings and continuing education to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Neuroscience, Biology, Or Psychology

  • Certification As A Registered Eeg Technologist (R. Eeg T.) Through The American Board Of Registration Of Electroencephalographic And Evoked Potential Technologists (Abret)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Performing Eegs In A Clinical Setting

  • Strong Understanding Of Neurophysiology And Experience With Eeg Interpretation

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively Within A Multidisciplinary Team.
