- Perform and interpret electroencephalography (EEG) tests to diagnose and monitor neurological disorders.
- Prepare patients for EEG procedures and ensure their comfort and safety during the test.
- Operate EEG equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of EEG test results.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on EEG procedures and results.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in EEG technology and techniques.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with maintaining accreditation standards.

Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Neuroscience, Biology, Or Psychology
Certification As A Registered Eeg Technologist (R. Eeg T.) Through The American Board Of Registration Of Electroencephalographic And Evoked Potential Technologists (Abret)
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Performing Eegs In A Clinical Setting
Strong Understanding Of Neurophysiology And Experience With Eeg Interpretation
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively Within A Multidisciplinary Team.
