  • Perform electroencephalography (EEG) procedures on patients to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders
  • Set up and operate EEG equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality of results
  • Monitor patient during procedures and make adjustments as necessary to obtain optimal recordings
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of test results for physician interpretation
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment
  • Educate patients and their families on the procedure and answer any questions or concerns
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work area
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques in EEG testing and participate in ongoing training and education
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
  • Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Neurodiagnostics, Electroneurodiagnostic Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Registered Electroencephalography Technologist (R. Eeg T.) From The American Board Of Registration Of Electroencephalographic And Evoked Potential Technologists (Abret).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Electroencephalography Lab Or Related Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Eeg Equipment And Software, Including The Ability To Troubleshoot And Maintain Equipment.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
