Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Plant Supervisor to join our team and oversee the operations of our electrical plant. As an integral member of our facilities team, you will ensure the safe and reliable operation of our electrical systems to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.   1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the electrical plant, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
  2. Ensure the safe and reliable operation of all electrical systems, including generators, transformers, and switchgear.
  3. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of all electrical equipment.
  4. Monitor and analyze energy usage to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  5. Maintain compliance with all relevant safety codes and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  6. Supervise a team of electrical plant technicians and provide guidance, training, and support as needed.
  7. Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance and repairs that minimize disruption to patient care.
  8. Collaborate with external contractors and vendors to obtain competitive bids and oversee the completion of projects.
  9. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, as well as equipment inventory and warranty information.
  10. Stay informed of industry developments and best practices to continuously improve the performance and reliability of the electrical plant.
  11. Respond to emergency situations and troubleshoot equipment failures to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  12. Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management to provide updates on plant operations and address any concerns or issues.
  13. Support the organization's commitment to sustainability by implementing energy-efficient practices and promoting a culture of conservation.
  14. Participate in budget planning and monitor expenses to ensure the electrical plant operates within allocated funds.
  15. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Role Within A Power Plant Or Similar Electrical Facility.

  • Knowledge Of Electrical Systems, Including Generators, Transformers, Switchgear, And Distribution Systems.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Team.

  • Experience With Regulatory Compliance And Safety Protocols Related To Electrical Systems And Equipment.
