- Develop and implement strategic plans for the Cancer Service Line in alignment with the overall goals and objectives of Legacy Health.
- Oversee the daily operations of the comprehensive cancer program, ensuring high quality, efficient, and patient-centered care.
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and resources to promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, staff, and community partners, to enhance the cancer program and its services.
- Monitor and analyze program performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in cancer care and treatment, and incorporate new evidence-based practices into the program.
- Collaborate with other departments and service lines to ensure coordinated and seamless care for cancer patients.
- Develop and manage the budget for the Cancer Service Line, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial goals.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to cancer care.
- Foster a culture of compassion, empathy, and excellence within the cancer program, promoting a patient-centric approach to care.
- Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to raise awareness of the cancer program and its services.
- Represent Legacy Health and the Cancer Service Line in local, regional, and national forums, promoting the organization and its mission to provide exceptional care.
- Mentor and develop staff, providing opportunities for growth and advancement within the organization.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the cancer program.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, serving as a role model for the organization's values and standards of behavior.
Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Administration, With A Focus On Cancer Services Or Oncology.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field. Master's Degree Preferred.
Strong Leadership Skills, With Proven Experience In Managing And Developing A Multidisciplinary Team.
In-Depth Understanding Of The Healthcare Landscape, Specifically Related To Cancer Care And Treatment, Including Regulatory Requirements And Reimbursement Processes.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders, Including Physicians, Staff, Patients, And Community Partners.
