- Oversee and coordinate all housekeeping activities within the healthcare facility.
- Ensure that all housekeeping tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping staff to ensure a smooth operation and address any issues or concerns.
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and protocols to maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in the facility.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and storage.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleaning standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping services for special events or projects.
- Respond promptly to any housekeeping emergencies or urgent requests.
- Maintain records and reports related to housekeeping activities, including staff schedules and performance evaluations.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping to continuously improve services.
- Uphold and promote the values and mission of Legacy Health through positive and professional interactions with patients and staff.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Experience In Housekeeping Management: Candidates Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Managing Housekeeping Services, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Includes Knowledge Of Cleaning Procedures, Inventory Management, And Staff Supervision.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Coordinator, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Staff, Patients, And Other Departments. Effective Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For This Role.
Attention To Detail: The Coordinator Will Be Responsible For Ensuring That All Housekeeping Tasks Are Completed Thoroughly And To The Highest Standards. This Requires A Strong Attention To Detail And The Ability To Identify And Address Any Issues Or Deficiencies.
Leadership Abilities: The Coordinator Will Be Managing A Team Of Housekeeping Staff, So Strong Leadership Skills Are Necessary. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Clear Instructions, And Motivate And Train Team Members.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Standards: Legacy Health Is A Healthcare Organization, So The Coordinator Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Standards Related To Housekeeping Services. This Includes Infection Control, Safety Protocols, And Privacy Laws.
