
Coordinator, Administration and Volunteers
Legacy Health is looking for an experienced and organized Coordinator, Administration and Volunteers to oversee our volunteer program and ensure that our volunteers are properly trained and supported. This role requires excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a passion for making a difference in the community. The successful candidate will have an unwavering attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Social Work, Public Administration, or related field• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a volunteer management or related role• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize with a sense of urgency• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff, volunteers, and the general public• Knowledge of volunteer policies and procedures in a health care setting• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and various online databases
Responsibilities:
- Recruit and onboard volunteers, including screening, interviewing, and training
- Create and implement volunteer policies and procedures
- Develop and manage volunteer orientation, training, and recognition programs
- Plan and coordinate volunteer activities, events, and assignments
- Monitor and evaluate volunteer performance
- Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours and activities
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with volunteers, internal departments, and external stakeholders
- Represent the organization at community events and volunteer fairs
- Develop and maintain effective communication systems with volunteers and staff
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to volunteer management
- Monitor and evaluate volunteer program success and progress
- Implement new strategies for volunteer engagement and retention
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
