Job Description

Legacy Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Specialty Dietitian to join our team. This role provides personalized nutrition education, counseling, and support to patients and their families for a variety of clinical nutrition needs. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, patient-centered professional with experience in providing evidence-based nutrition care. An energetic and compassionate approach to dietetics is essential in this role.The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification, and at least two years of experience in a clinical setting. In addition, they should have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for helping patients reach their health goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide personalized nutrition education, counseling, and support to patients and their families regarding their clinical nutrition needs
  2. Develop and implement evidence-based nutrition care plans for patients
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper nutrition care
  4. Monitor patients' progress and adjust nutrition care plans as needed
  5. Keep up-to-date with current nutrition knowledge and trends
  6. Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition and lifestyle modifications
  7. Maintain accurate records of patients' nutrition care plans
  8. Assist with research projects and other duties as assigned
