  1. Administer Anesthesia: Responsible for administering anesthesia to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards, ensuring the safe and effective administration of anesthesia.
  2. Monitor Patient Care: Responsible for monitoring patient vital signs and responses to anesthesia during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.
  3. Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized anesthesia plans for patients, taking into account their medical history and unique needs.
  4. Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines in the administration of anesthesia, including proper documentation and adherence to infection control protocols.
  5. Educate Patients and Families: Responsible for educating patients and their families about the anesthesia process, potential risks, and post-operative care instructions.
  6. Stay Current on Industry Developments: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements and developments in the field of anesthesia, and incorporate best practices into daily work.
  7. Participate in Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of safe and effective anesthesia care.
  8. Maintain Equipment: Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and in compliance with safety standards.
  9. Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to other healthcare professionals, including new staff members and students, on anesthesia protocols, equipment, and best practices.
  10. Demonstrate Compassion and Respect: Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect towards patients, their families, and colleagues, in line with the organization's values.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Licensure As A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Crna) In The State Of Oregon.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working As A Crna In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Advanced Knowledge And Skills In The Administration Of Anesthesia, Including The Use Of Advanced Technology And Equipment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Pharmacology And Anesthesia Protocols, Including The Ability To Manage And Monitor Patients During Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Healthcare Professionals And Provide Education And Support To Patients And Their Families.
