Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Social Worker Specialist to join our team. As a CSWA or LCSW, you will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic services to patients in need.   1. Conduct initial assessments of patients' social, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  3. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to patients, including individual and group therapy.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  5. Conduct regular follow-up sessions with patients to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  6. Advocate for patients and their families to ensure their needs are met within the healthcare system.
  7. Connect patients with appropriate community resources and support services.
  8. Provide crisis intervention and support to patients and families in times of need.
  9. Collaborate with external agencies and organizations to coordinate care and services for patients.
  10. Stay current with best practices and industry standards in clinical social work.
  11. Adhere to ethical and legal guidelines and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  12. Participate in team meetings, trainings, and other professional development activities.
  13. Serve as a resource and mentor to other social workers and team members.
  14. Maintain professional boundaries and uphold ethical standards in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
  15. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Social Work From An Accredited Program: A Cswa Or Lcsw Must Have A Graduate Degree In Social Work, Demonstrating A Strong Foundation In The Theories And Practices Of The Profession.

  • Current Licensure As A Clinical Social Worker: To Practice As A Cswa Or Lcsw, Candidates Must Hold A Current, Valid License To Practice Clinical Social Work In The State Of Oregon.

  • Completion Of Supervised Clinical Hours: To Become A Cswa Or Lcsw, Candidates Must Complete A Certain Number Of Supervised Clinical Hours, Demonstrating Their Ability To Effectively Provide Therapeutic Interventions To Patients.

  • Experience In A Healthcare Setting: A Cswa Or Lcsw Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, As This Role Involves Providing Support And Services To Patients And Their Families During Times Of Illness Or Crisis.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices: A Strong Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices And Treatment Modalities Is Essential For A Clinical Social Worker Specialist. This Includes Familiarity With Various Therapy Techniques, Such As Cognitive Behavioral Therapy And Solution-Focused Therapy.
