  1. Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and welcoming manner, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar for healthcare professionals.
  3. Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
  4. Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary copayments or fees.
  5. Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of all information.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all.
  7. Ensure that the clinic waiting area and front desk are clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  8. Follow established protocols for patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  9. Provide assistance and support to healthcare professionals as needed.
  10. Handle patient inquiries and resolve any concerns or issues in a professional and timely manner.
  11. Maintain a working knowledge of clinic services and procedures to accurately answer patient questions.
  12. Collaborate with other clinic staff to ensure efficient and effective patient flow.
  13. Attend trainings and meetings as required to stay updated on any changes or new procedures.
  14. Uphold and promote the values and mission of Legacy Health through exceptional customer service and patient care.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, even during busy or stressful situations.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education Required, With Additional Education Or Certification In Medical Reception Preferred.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Medical Office Or Healthcare Setting, With Demonstrated Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Verification Processes.

  • Excellent Customer Service And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Handle A High Volume Of Phone Calls And Interact With Patients And Healthcare Professionals In A Professional And Compassionate Manner.

  • Strong Organizational And Multitasking Abilities, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Handle Multiple Responsibilities Simultaneously.

  • Proficiency In Computer Systems And Electronic Medical Records, With The Ability To Accurately Input And Retrieve Patient Information And Schedule Appointments.
