Responsibilities:

1. Greet patients and provide excellent customer service in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
2. Answer phones in a timely and efficient manner, addressing patient inquiries and scheduling appointments.
3. Verify patient insurance coverage and enter information into the electronic medical record system.
4. Collect patient payments and process transactions accurately and promptly.
5. Perform daily administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and copying documents.
6. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked reception area.
7. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other applicable laws.
8. Monitor the patient waiting area and ensure patient comfort and privacy.
9. Assist physicians and other medical staff with patient care and day-to-day operations as needed.
10. Assist with any additional duties as assigned.
