
Clinic Services Specialist 2 - Medical Receptionist

- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Ensure a smooth and efficient check-in process for patients, including verifying insurance information and collecting necessary paperwork.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, and manage the appointment calendar.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, transferring calls to appropriate departments when needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely patient flow and minimize wait times.
- Collect and process payments for services rendered.
- Keep accurate records of patient information and update electronic medical records as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry.
- Communicate any patient concerns or issues to the appropriate staff members.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Stay updated on all clinic policies and procedures.
- Continuously strive to improve customer service and patient satisfaction.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Medical Office Or Clinic Setting, Preferably As A Receptionist Or Front Desk Coordinator.
Excellent Customer Service Skills, Including The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals.
Proficiency In Using Electronic Medical Record Systems And Other Computer Software, Including Scheduling And Billing Systems.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Verification, And Coding Procedures.
Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment, While Maintaining Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
