- Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the clinic in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist patients with scheduling appointments and completing registration forms.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate healthcare professional or department.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist healthcare professionals with procedures and treatments as needed.
- Collect and process patient payments and insurance information.
- Educate patients on clinic services, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Monitor and order office and medical supplies as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Continuously update and maintain knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Provide support and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Act as a liaison between patients, healthcare professionals, and other departments within the organization.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: The Minimum Educational Requirement For A Clinic Assistant At Legacy Health Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Basic Knowledge And Skills In Areas Such As English, Math, And Critical Thinking.
Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Clinic, Hospital, Or Medical Office, Is Highly Desirable For A Clinic Assistant At Legacy Health. This Experience Demonstrates A Familiarity With Medical Terminology And Procedures, As Well As An Understanding Of Patient Care.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Clinic Assistant, It Is Essential To Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Coworkers, And Healthcare Professionals. This Includes Active Listening, Empathy, And The Ability To Remain Calm And Professional In Potentially Stressful Situations.
