Clinic Assistant

You will also need to be familiar with medical terminology and medical office procedures. Responsibilities:

1. Greet patients, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service.
2. Arrange appointments, maintain patient records, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
3. Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including collecting copayments and verifying insurance coverage.
4. Monitor patient vitals and provide basic medical care as necessary.
5. Assist medical staff with patient care tasks, such as preparing exam rooms for procedures, taking vital signs, and drawing blood.
6. Track lab results and follow up with patients, as needed.
7. Receive and process payments, including filing insurance paperwork.
8. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe medical office environment.
9. Other duties as required.
