  1. Perform the sterilization and maintenance of medical equipment and instruments according to established protocols and procedures.
  2. Monitor and record sterilization processes to ensure equipment and instruments are properly sterilized and safe for use.
  3. Maintain accurate records of all sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
  4. Inspect and assemble medical equipment and instruments, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the availability of sterile equipment and instruments for patient care.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent the spread of infections and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines related to sterilization and equipment maintenance.
  8. Assist in the training and orientation of new Central Sterile Technicians.
  9. Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and equipment, and order replacements as needed.
  10. Troubleshoot equipment and instrument malfunctions and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to provide timely and efficient service to patients and healthcare providers.
  12. Continuously improve skills and knowledge through ongoing education and training opportunities.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure the efficiency of sterilization processes.
  14. Foster a positive and professional work culture that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
  15. Uphold the values and mission of Legacy Health in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.
