Certification: A Central Sterile Technician Certified Job At Legacy Health Requires A Valid Certification From A Recognized Organization Such As The Certification Board For Sterile Processing And Distribution (Cbspd) Or The International Association Of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (Iahcsmm).
Knowledge Of Sterilization Techniques: Candidates Must Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of Different Sterilization Techniques, Including Steam, Gas, And Chemical Methods. They Should Also Be Familiar With Sterilization Equipment And Be Able To Troubleshoot Any Issues That May Arise.
