  1. Assist in the implementation of treatment plans: As a Behavioral Health Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of treatment plans for patients with mental health concerns. This includes working closely with the treatment team to ensure that patients receive the appropriate care and services.
  2. Provide emotional support to patients: One of the key responsibilities of a Behavioral Health Assistant is to provide emotional support and comfort to patients. This may involve actively listening to their concerns, offering words of encouragement, and creating a safe and supportive environment for patients to express their feelings.
  3. Monitor patient progress: It will be your responsibility to monitor and document patients' progress in their treatment plans. This includes observing and reporting any changes in behavior or symptoms to the treatment team.

  7. Respond to crisis situations: In the event of a crisis, you will be responsible for responding appropriately and following established protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of patients. This may involve de-escalating a situation, contacting emergency services, and providing support to patients and their families.
  8. Update and maintain patient records: Accurate and timely documentation is crucial in the healthcare field. As a Behavioral Health Assistant, you will be responsible for updating and maintaining patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Behavioral Health Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of And Experience With Evidence-Based Behavioral Health Interventions And Treatment Modalities.

  • Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams, Including Mental Health Professionals, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Providers.

  • Strong Understanding Of Ethical And Legal Guidelines For Working With Individuals With Mental Health Conditions And Ability To Maintain Confidentiality.
