
Behavioral Health Assistant
Legacy Health is looking for an experienced and compassionate Behavioral Health Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mental health and will be motivated to help our patients achieve their goals. This position requires a minimum of three years of experience working in a behavioral health setting and a valid current certification as a Behavioral Health Assistant. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. They will be both empathetic and knowledgeable, and will be able to provide support and guidance to our patients. They will also be able to collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team. Responsibilities:
- Provide support and guidance to patients with mental health issues.
- Monitor patients’ progress and document any changes in behavior.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team.
- Assist in conducting assessments and evaluations of patients.
- Provide education and resources to patients and families on mental health.
- Provide crisis intervention services when needed.
- Participate in team meetings and other activities as needed.
- Follow all rules and regulations as outlined by Legacy Health.
