Job Description

Looking for a dynamic and skilled Angiography Technologist to join our team at Legacy Health! As an Angiography Technologist at our facility, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures using specialized equipment and techniques. Your expertise will be crucial in helping physicians diagnose and treat various conditions, making a significant impact on our patients' health and well-being.   1. Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures using specialized angiography equipment and techniques.
  2. Prepare patients for procedures, providing clear and thorough explanations and addressing any concerns or questions.
  3. Position and adjust imaging equipment to obtain the best quality images for accurate diagnosis.
  4. Monitor patients during procedures, recognizing and responding to any changes in their condition.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, including patient demographics, images, and other relevant information.
  6. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective procedures and patient care.
  7. Follow established safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  8. Troubleshoot technical issues with equipment and escalate to appropriate personnel when necessary.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of hazardous materials.
  10. Attend continuing education and training opportunities to stay current on advancements in angiography technology and techniques.
  11. Educate patients and their families on procedures and aftercare instructions.
  12. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  13. Uphold a high standard of professionalism and patient-centered care at all times.
  14. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to improve processes and provide exceptional patient care.
  15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA regulations.
  16. Work collaboratively with other Angiography Technologists and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
  17. Serve as a mentor to new technologists and students, providing guidance and support.
  18. Maintain equipment and supplies, reporting any malfunctions or shortages to appropriate channels.
  19. Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental processes.
  20. Embrace and promote the organization's mission, vision, and values in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Certification As A Radiologic Technologist From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Performing Angiography Procedures.

  • Advanced Knowledge And Understanding Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathophysiology Related To Angiography Procedures.

  • Experience With Various Equipment And Techniques Used In Angiography, Including Fluoroscopy, Digital Subtraction Angiography, And Interventional Radiography.

  • Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
