Host/Hostess

At Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Host/Hostess to join our team and welcome our guests. This position requires someone who is able to multitask, is organized, and has excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is passionate about hospitality, has a positive attitude, and is eager to provide a top-notch dining experience to each and every guest. As a Host/Hostess at Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar you will be responsible for greeting guests, seating them in a timely manner, and ensuring that all guests have a pleasant and enjoyable experience.Required Qualifications:-High School Diploma or equivalent-At least one year of restaurant experience-Excellent customer service skills-The ability to work in a fast-paced environment-Strong organizational and communication skills-Knowledge of POS systems-Flexible availability, including nights and weekendsIf you’re a customer service professional with a passion for hospitality and you think you have what it takes to be a Host/Hostess at Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

1. Greeting guests upon arrival to the restaurant and seating them in a timely manner.
2. Providing exceptional customer service to all guests.
3. Familiarizing guests with the menu and answering any questions they may have.
4. Effectively communicating with other staff members and management.
5. Managing reservations and ensuring all guests are properly accommodated.
6. Enforcing restaurant policies and procedures.
7. Maintaining a clean and organized environment.
8. Utilizing POS systems to process payments.
9. Providing support during peak times.
10. Supporting other restaurant staff members as needed.
