Job Description

As the Stock Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our stores are well-stocked and organized, providing our customers with a seamless shopping experience.   1. Oversee and manage all aspects of stock management in the store, including receiving, organizing, and replenishing inventory.
  2. Ensure that all stock is accurately recorded and tracked in the store's inventory system.
  3. Lead and motivate a team of stock associates, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective stock management.
  4. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and visual merchandising, to ensure that stock levels meet customer demand and align with store goals.
  5. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels and identify any discrepancies or issues.
  6. Monitor stock levels and make recommendations for restocking or reordering to prevent stockouts and maintain a well-stocked store.
  7. Organize and maintain the stockroom and backroom areas to ensure efficient and safe storage of merchandise.
  8. Train new stock associates on stock management procedures and best practices.
  9. Communicate with management and store associates to coordinate stock transfers between stores as needed.
  10. Maintain a neat and organized sales floor by restocking merchandise and ensuring all sizes and styles are readily available for customers.
  11. Address any customer inquiries or concerns related to stock availability or inventory discrepancies.
  12. Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to ensure that stock is displayed in an aesthetically pleasing and organized manner on the sales floor.
  13. Continuously improve stock management processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
  14. Maintain a thorough understanding of all Lacoste products to assist customers and provide product knowledge to store associates.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Retail Management: A Stock Lead At Lacoste Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A High-End Fashion Brand. This Experience Should Include Managing Inventory, Overseeing Stock Operations, And Leading A Team.

  • Strong Organizational Skills: As A Stock Lead, The Ability To Organize Stockroom And Inventory Efficiently Is Crucial. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Organizational Skills To Ensure That All Products Are Properly Labeled, Stored, And Accounted For.

  • Knowledge Of Retail Operations: The Stock Lead Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Retail Operations, Including Stock Replenishment, Inventory Management, And Visual Merchandising. They Should Also Have Experience With Point-Of-Sale Systems And Be Able To Troubleshoot Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Leadership Abilities: The Stock Lead Is Responsible For Managing A Team Of Stockroom Associates, So Strong Leadership Skills Are A Must. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Motivate And Guide Their Team To Ensure Efficient And Accurate Stock Operations.

  • Attention To Detail: In A Fast-Paced Retail Environment, Attention To Detail Is Crucial. The Stock Lead Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That All Stockroom Procedures Are Followed Correctly, And Inventory Accuracy Is Maintained. They Should Also Be Able To Identify And Resolve Any Discrepancies In A Timely Manner.
