• Oversee the daily operations of the stockroom, including receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory levels
• Ensure accurate inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling any discrepancies
• Lead and motivate the stock team to achieve and exceed performance targets
• Train new team members on stock control processes and procedures
• Develop and implement strategies to improve stockroom efficiency and minimize loss or damage
• Communicate with other departments, such as sales and merchandising, to coordinate stock levels and replenishment needs
• Monitor stock levels and anticipate potential shortages or overstock situations
• Collaborate with the buying team to track inventory turnover and make recommendations for purchasing and markdowns
• Maintain a clean and organized stockroom, adhering to safety and security protocols
• Keep up-to-date with current fashion trends and styles to assist with inventory management and merchandising decisions
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the store manager or other members of management.
