In this role, you will play a critical part in our supply chain operations by managing and administering subcontracts for our various projects.   1. Manage and administer subcontracts for various projects within the company.
  2. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to identify subcontracting needs and develop effective strategies.
  3. Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify potential subcontractors.
  4. Negotiate terms and conditions with subcontractors to ensure favorable outcomes for the company.
  5. Review and analyze subcontractor proposals and make recommendations for selection.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors to ensure timely and satisfactory delivery of goods and services.
  7. Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  8. Coordinate with legal and finance departments to ensure all subcontracting activities are in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  9. Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed subcontracting documentation.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments related to subcontracting to suggest improvements and optimize processes.
  11. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding subcontracting activities.
  12. Provide guidance and support to junior team members to ensure successful completion of subcontracting tasks.
  13. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with subcontracting activities.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve subcontracting processes and drive cost savings for the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Federal Acquisition Regulations (Far) And Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (Dfar).

  • A Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or Contracts Management.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Subcontracting Or Procurement, Preferably In A Government Or Defense Industry.

  • Strong Negotiation And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Subcontractors And Suppliers.

  • Familiarity With Enterprise Resource Planning (Erp) Systems And Software, As Well As Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Data Analysis Tools.
