- Lead the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced reconnaissance aircraft for the RC-135 program.
- Utilize expertise and attention to detail to ensure the success of the mission-critical program.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement systems engineering processes and standards.
- Manage and maintain system requirements throughout the development and integration process.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to ensure project success.
- Develop and maintain system design and integration documentation.
- Conduct system testing and evaluation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers on systems engineering principles and processes.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in aerospace and defense technology.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of components and subsystems.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and company policies.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to support decision-making.
- Work closely with project managers to develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
- Continuously improve and optimize systems engineering processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Ability To Obtain And Maintain A Top Secret Security Clearance.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical, Mechanical, Or Aerospace Engineering With A Focus On Avionics Or Systems Engineering.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Systems Engineering, Preferably In The Aerospace Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Rc-135 Aircraft Systems And Components.
Experience With Electronic Warfare Systems, Including Radar, Sigint, And Comint.
