1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the aerospace and defense industries.
2. Develop and implement effective capture strategies to secure new contracts and drive growth for the company.
3. Lead the capture process from initiation to contract award, including developing and managing capture plans, conducting competitive analysis, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
4. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients to understand their needs and requirements.
5. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and trends.
6. Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and coordination in pursuit of new business.
8. Manage and track all aspects of the capture process, including budgets, timelines, and resources.
9. Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the capture process.
10. Continuously monitor and evaluate the competitive landscape and adjust capture strategies accordingly.
11. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to network and promote our capabilities.
12. Serve as a subject matter expert on program management best practices and processes.
13. Mentor and train junior capture team members.
