  3. Follow established procedures and standards to accurately conduct NDT.
  4. Interpret and evaluate NDT results to determine the presence and nature of any defects.
  5. Document and report all findings accurately and in a timely manner.
  6. Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  7. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve any NDT-related issues.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing NDT.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and continuously improve NDT techniques and processes.
  10. Train and mentor junior NDT technicians as needed.
  11. Maintain detailed records and documentation of all NDT activities.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates and recommendations.
  13. Follow company policies and procedures to maintain a professional and ethical work environment.
  14. Collaborate with other departments to ensure NDT processes are integrated into production and quality control processes.
  15. Attend trainings and conferences to expand knowledge and skills in NDT.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification In Non-Destructive Testing (Ndt): The Ideal Candidate For A Ndt Technician Role At L3Harris Corporation Should Possess A Valid Certification In Ndt Techniques Such As Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, Radiographic Testing, Or Visual Testing.

  • Knowledge Of Relevant Standards And Procedures: The Ndt Technician Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Standards And Procedures Related To Ndt, Such As Asnt (American Society For Nondestructive Testing) Guidelines And Specific Customer Specifications.

  • Experience With Ndt Equipment And Software: L3Harris Corporation Expects Ndt Technicians To Have Hands-On Experience With A Wide Range Of Ndt Equipment, Including Ultrasonic Flaw Detectors, Eddy Current Testing Equipment, And Digital Radiography Systems.
