
Manager, DEVOPS Functional Manager
The DEVOPS Functional Manager will coordinate and manage all activities associated with their organization. Plans for and uses resources efficiently, looks for ways to reduce costs, creates accurate and realistic budgets, tracks and adjusts budgets, contributes to budget planning. Understand financial side of business to generate revenue and enhances value (i.e., increasing revenues, improving productivity, and reducing costs). Organizes and manages and prioritize individual’s day-to-day work and resources. Defines roles and responsibilities, motivates and challenges employees, delegates effectively, rewards contributions, manages collaboratively. Develop, maintain and enhance DEVOPS Build Pipeline CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous delivery) pipelines that bridges the gap between product development and product release. Responsible for setting the short-term and long-term strategy and upgrade path for tools and techniques.
Extensive experience with managing, configuring, maintaining Linux servers.
Able to work a non-traditional schedule on occasion to resolve critical issues.
Knowledge on using and administering Linux, Solaris
Extensive experience with Linux and Container Technology such as Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes and/or related orchestration tools/platforms.
