  1. Develop and implement materials engineering strategies and processes to drive innovation and support the company's objectives.
  2. Lead and manage the materials engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success.
  3. Conduct research and analysis to identify new materials and processes for application in various industries, including aerospace, defense, and government agencies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and develop efficient and effective materials solutions.
  5. Analyze and evaluate the performance of existing materials and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance product quality and performance.
  6. Create and maintain documentation for materials and processes, including specifications, procedures, and test plans.
  7. Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to materials engineering and process development.
  8. Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  9. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  11. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to materials and processes.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  13. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on materials and process development.
  14. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, presenting on materials engineering and process development capabilities.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Or A Related Field

  • At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Materials And Process Engineering, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry

  • Strong Knowledge And Experience With Materials Selection, Characterization, And Testing

  • Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Lead Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As As9100 And Itar, And Experience Working Within A Regulated Environment.
