- Lead the design and development of field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) for advanced defense systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that FPGA designs meet project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct thorough testing and verification of FPGA designs to ensure functionality and performance.
- Mentor and guide junior FPGA engineers in design techniques and best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in FPGA technology and apply them to improve designs.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of FPGA designs within budget.
- Provide technical expertise and support to other departments, such as production and customer support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the design, development, or testing process.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for FPGA design and development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all FPGA designs, changes, and test results.
- Participate in design reviews and provide valuable feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to source necessary components for FPGA designs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures while working with potentially hazardous materials.
- Uphold the company's values and standards of excellence in all aspects of the job.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Fpga Design And Development, Preferably In A Leadership Role.
Expertise In Verilog And/Or Vhdl Coding, Fpga Synthesis Tools, And Simulation And Verification Techniques.
Strong Understanding Of High-Speed Digital Design Principles And Experience With High-Speed Interfaces Such As Pcie, Ethernet, And Ddr.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing A Team Of Fpga Design Engineers, Including Project Planning, Resource Allocation, And Technical Mentorship.
