Lead, Flight Operations

1. Oversee all flight operations activities for the company, including but not limited to, flight planning, scheduling, and execution.
2. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal aviation regulations and safety standards.
3. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for flight operations, and ensure all team members are trained and adhering to them.
4. Manage and coordinate flight crew schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all flights.
5. Monitor and maintain aircraft maintenance schedules to ensure safe and efficient operations.
6. Maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to support flight operations.
7. Continuously evaluate and improve flight operations processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Provide leadership and direction to the flight operations team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
9. Monitor and manage flight budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals.
10. Collaborate with other departments within the company to support overall business objectives and strategies.
11. Stay current with industry developments and trends, and make recommendations for implementing new technologies or processes to improve flight operations.
12. Represent the company in a professional manner to clients and stakeholders, and maintain positive relationships with them.
13. Facilitate communication and collaboration among flight crew members, ensuring clear and effective communication channels.
14. Ensure that all flight operations are conducted with the highest level of safety and adhere to company policies and procedures.
15. Act as a mentor and coach for team members, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
