Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains detailed records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. Coordination with other functions on additional quality check points related to material receipt and verification prior to releasing material for manufacturing. Prepares and maintains detailed data records throughout the entire process from receipt of material to final delivery to functional end user. Examines, stocks, manages and distributes materials in inventory. Perform work in adherence to safe material handling practices and maintain compliance with L3Harris specific Environment Health and Safety policies/procedures regarding material handling.
