
Electrical Engineer
Able to interpret and trouble shoot electronic circuits, embedded designs, and complex systems using Top-Down Assembly Drawings, Schematics, and Bills of Material (BOMs). Design high availability analog, digital, microprocessor, and FPGA centered circuits that exceed customer specifications. Support manufacturing/test for new and legacy designs to ensure a reliable and profitable product. Experience with component sourcing and selection of alternate parts due to obsolescence. Work with customers (over the phone and aboard ship) to diagnose issues, communicate status, and deliver solutions. Assist other engineers with new challenges and seek growth in their responsibilities. Working individually and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, the engineer is responsible for ensuring their designs satisfy system requirements including electrical, power, and environmental specifications. The engineer will support the manufacturing floor to build, test, and trouble shoot customer deliverables.
2 to 5 years of related work experience.
Practical experience with circuit design, simulation, and engineering analysis software tools
Working knowledge of object-oriented software
Experience with Design for Manufacturing, Design for Test, and DevOps methodologies
