
Continous Improvement Lead
Acts as an unwavering advocate of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodology; partner to the President in leading the organization, through cultural change, to embrace an environment of continuous improvement and employee engagement. Spearhead the annual development of company e3 objectives and execution of corresponding improvement plans throughout the year. Provide mentoring and leadership to all functional leaders to drive e3 goals and objectives down into the organization (alignment across departments is critical). Coaches, mentors and provides general support/leadership to the organization on the use of Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement tools. Preparing needs analyses of identified processes from the project selection list to achieve and exceed key metrics. Perform capacity planning, as needed. Understand MRP and related business systems concepts and be able to pull relevant reports. Spearhead operational excellence benchmark opportunities, in and outside of L3Harris. Lead 5S deployment throughout the plant in both manufacturing and administrative areas.
Experience in developing processes, writing procedures and training hourly and exempt associates
Minimum of 9 years of operations/manufacturing related work experience
Hold recognized LSS Black Belt certification
Ability to become so and extensive successful track record using tools and best practices.
