CAD Drafter

Provide detailed design models and drawings for all IVER mechanical components using Solidworks. Support the creation of new design models and drawings using Solidworks PDM, the documentation control system for all Iver subsystems and components. Support ME department by assisting with CAD documentation and configuration management. Support prototype builds working closely with senior mechanical engineering in a hands on role Work closely with Operations to transition new designs to production / manufacturing using established company processes. Assist Quality Control Department to verify compliance of incoming purchased parts with required specifications. Manage the engineering input to outside machine shops that will be fabricating components. Support the configuration management process and coordinate ECR/ECO/ECNs as needed to support Solidworks PDM processes.
