Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist

Performs a variety of Accounts Payable and Payroll accounting support tasks including account reconciliations; participation in the quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audits and statutory audits, general administrative duties. May act as backup to Accounts Receivable and other related Accounting/Finance administrative roles. Following triple-match process for PO based purchases Obtaining appropriate approvals of invoices. Entering invoices into the system (including resolution of any issues with vendors in a timely manner). Ensuring vendors are paid on time (troubleshooting any payments issues / delays, working with corporate shared services as needed). Reviewing and entering weekly exception timesheets. Processing special check requests through Corp payroll system, as needed. Develops strong partnership/teambuilding relationships with all functional areas and business levels within the company
