- Manage the design process for various products from concept to production, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop and refine product concepts, ensuring they align with the company's brand and customer needs.
- Create and maintain project timelines, regularly communicating progress and potential roadblocks to the Design Project Manager.
- Coordinate and attend design meetings, taking detailed notes and following up on action items to ensure project tasks are completed.
- Conduct research and gather materials necessary for the design process, including sourcing fabrics, trims, and other necessary components.
- Review and provide feedback on design sketches, prototypes, and samples, ensuring they meet quality standards and design specifications.
- Manage communication with external vendors and partners, providing clear and timely instructions and specifications for product development.
- Assist with product testing and evaluation, identifying and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all design projects, including product specifications, materials, and approvals.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape, providing insights and recommendations for product improvements and innovations.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for L.L.Bean, embodying the company's values and commitment to quality in all interactions.
Bachelor's Degree In Design, Project Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Project Management Or Design Role.
Strong Organization And Communication Skills.
Proficiency In Design Software And Project Management Tools.
