L Brands is an American fashion retailer, operating a portfolio of companies that includes Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, Henri Bendel, and La Senza. In recent years, the company has experienced declining sales and has seen its stock price fall significantly. In an effort to turn around its business, the company has announced plans to close some of its stores, cut jobs, and reduce costs. Additionally, the company has announced plans to focus more on its digital presence and to shift away from its traditional brick-and-mortar locations. In 2021,The Columbus-based retailer has officially spilt into two companies — Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works. The split went into effect and the companies began trading individually on the New York Stock Exchange after that time.
