  1. Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including managing inventory, overseeing the team, and ensuring the overall success of the store.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain the high standards of Kroger.
  3. Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve store performance and increase sales.
  4. Train, coach, and mentor team members to ensure they are delivering excellent customer service and meeting performance goals.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales and inventory data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to the Store Manager.
  6. Assist in creating and implementing merchandising plans to ensure the store is visually appealing and products are easy for customers to find.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  8. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient and effective completion of daily tasks.
  10. Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members to ensure a knowledgeable and skilled workforce.
  11. Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement promotional strategies to increase sales and meet business objectives.
  12. Monitor and manage store expenses within the given budget.
  13. Assist in conducting performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to improve their performance.
  14. Serve as a role model for team members by demonstrating a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to customer service.
  15. Maintain a thorough understanding of Kroger's products, services, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers and team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Retail Management: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Position, Preferably In The Grocery Or Supermarket Industry.

  • Leadership Skills: Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team, Provide Direction, And Make Sound Decisions To Ensure The Store Operates Efficiently And Effectively.

  • Strong Customer Service Skills: Experience In Providing Exceptional Customer Service And Resolving Customer Complaints In A Timely And Professional Manner.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability To Effectively Manage And Prioritize Multiple Tasks, Delegate Responsibilities, And Maintain A Well-Organized And Clean Store Environment.
