
Stock Associate

As a Stock Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our shelves are fully stocked and our customers have access to the products they need. - Ensure shelves are fully stocked: The primary responsibility of the Stock Associate is to ensure that all shelves are fully stocked with products at all times. This includes regularly restocking items, rotating products, and organizing shelves to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
- Monitor inventory levels: The Stock Associate will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels and notifying management when certain products are running low. They will also be responsible for tracking sales trends to determine which products are in high demand and need to be restocked more frequently.
- Receive and unpack shipments: The Stock Associate will be responsible for receiving and unpacking shipments of new products. This includes checking the accuracy of the shipment, organizing products in the stockroom, and ensuring that all products are properly labeled.
- Assist with inventory management: The Stock Associate will work closely with the Inventory Manager to assist with inventory management tasks such as conducting stock counts, updating inventory records, and identifying slow-moving products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization: It is the responsibility of the Stock Associate to maintain a clean and organized work environment. This includes keeping the stockroom and backroom areas tidy, as well as cleaning and organizing the shelves and displays on the sales floor.
- Provide exceptional customer service: As a representative of Kroger, the Stock Associate is expected to provide exceptional customer service to all customers. This includes greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting them in finding products.
- Follow safety and security procedures: The Stock Associate is responsible for following all safety and security procedures to ensure the safety of themselves, their coworkers, and customers. This includes properly handling and storing products, using equipment safely, and reporting any safety hazards or incidents to management.
- Work in a fast-paced environment: The Stock Associate must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours and busy times. This includes being able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work quickly and accurately to restock shelves and assist customers.
