- Ensuring all product labels comply with regulatory standards: The Regulatory Label Specialist will be responsible for reviewing all product labels and ensuring they meet the highest regulatory standards, including FDA, USDA, and state-specific requirements.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulations: This role requires staying informed about any changes or updates to regulatory requirements and incorporating them into product labeling.
- Conducting label reviews and approvals: The Specialist will review and approve all product labels for accuracy and compliance with regulations before they are used in stores.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams: The Regulatory Label Specialist will work closely with various departments such as R&D, Quality Assurance, and Legal to ensure all products are accurately labeled and comply with regulations.
- Developing and maintaining labeling guidelines: This role involves creating and updating labeling guidelines and standards to ensure consistency and accuracy across all products.
- Managing labeling projects and timelines: The Specialist will be responsible for managing labeling projects and timelines to ensure all labels are completed and approved in a timely manner.
- Conducting label audits: Regular audits of product labels will be conducted by the Specialist to ensure ongoing compliance with regulations and identify any areas for improvement.
- Training and educating team members: The Regulatory Label Specialist will provide training and education to team members on labeling regulations and guidelines to ensure a thorough understanding of compliance requirements.
- Identifying and resolving labeling issues: In the event of a labeling issue or error, the Specialist will investigate and take appropriate corrective actions to ensure compliance and prevent future occurrences.
- Maintaining accurate records: This role requires maintaining accurate and organized records of all labeling activities, including approvals, audits, and updates, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Food Science, Nutrition, Or Regulatory Affairs.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Regulatory Labeling For The Food Industry.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Fda Regulations And Guidelines For Food Labeling.
Familiarity With Nutrition Labeling Requirements And Ability To Accurately Calculate And Analyze Nutrition Information.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Manage And Prioritize Multiple Projects And Deadlines.
