
Recruiting and Retention Specialist
The primary purpose of this position is to manage Human Resource functions on behalf of the store management team. Perform staffing duties including, but not limited to, recruiting, performing initial interviews, utilize written job descriptions, hiring, pre-employment drug screens, criminal background checks and conducting new hire orientation. Oversee accurate completion of all new hire paperwork and forward to the HRSSC in a timely manner. Monitor timely delivery of all required training for new hires and development of current associates. Conduct associate exit interviews. Maintain personnel and medical files (In accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPAA). Set up and maintain associate vacation calendar. Maintain workers compensation files. Process highly confidential information, maintaining and respecting confidentiality. Maintain compliance with all state and federal applicable laws. Maintain uniform program, including ensuring compliance from associates
Associate Degree Preferred
Six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong knowledge of state and federal labor laws
