1. Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and customers by greeting them warmly, answering any questions they may have, and addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
2. Assist in dispensing and preparing prescribed medication accurately and efficiently, following all safety and regulatory guidelines.
3. Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth workflow and timely filling of prescriptions.
4. Maintain accurate patient records and confidential information, adhering to all HIPAA regulations.
5. Assist in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
6. Conduct patient screenings and consultations, providing appropriate counseling and education on medication usage, side effects, and drug interactions.
7. Communicate and collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve any medication-related issues.
8. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in pharmaceutical regulations and procedures.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all sanitation and safety protocols.
10. Contribute to the training and development of new team members, sharing knowledge and expertise.
11. Display a positive and professional attitude, representing Kroger's values and commitment to providing quality healthcare.
12. Take on additional responsibilities or tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or other members of the management team.
