  1. Dispensing Medications: The Pharmacy/Pharmacist Floater will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications to customers in accordance with state and federal laws.
  2. Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service and building relationships with customers to ensure a positive experience.
  3. Inventory Management: Monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of medications and supplies.
  4. Prescription Processing: Accurately and efficiently processing prescription orders and verifying insurance coverage.
  5. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy operations.
  6. Team Coordination: Collaborating with other pharmacy team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  7. Patient Counseling: Providing medication counseling to customers and answering any questions or concerns they may have.
  8. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of prescription orders, inventory, and other pharmacy-related documents.
  9. Training: Assisting in training and mentoring new pharmacy team members.
  10. Quality Assurance: Participating in quality assurance programs to ensure accuracy and safety of medications dispensed.
  11. Administrative Tasks: Performing various administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing paperwork.
  12. Continual Education: Staying up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in the field of pharmacy through continuing education and training.
  13. Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Following all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
  14. Patient Safety: Ensuring the safety of all patients by following proper medication dispensing protocols and identifying potential drug interactions or allergies.
  15. Flexibility: Being able to work at different store locations as needed and adapting to changes in the work schedule.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Pharmacist License In The State In Which The Kroger Store Is Located

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Team And Handle High-Stress Situations.

  • A Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pharmaceutical Drugs, Their Uses, And Potential Interactions

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Pharmacist In A Retail Setting
